After adding the stem-cap (the massive plank at the front) I shaped the stem.

Then I started rounding all edges.

I invited my friends again to fill the remaining screw holes. This time they didn’t do the sanding. Maybe I should have hidden the beer…

The bottom consists of two layers of plywood. So it’s now 20mm strong. I used a lot of screws to press the second layer to the first.

Then I had to trim the edges.

Still some work to do before I can start with the glassing. Next I have to round all edges.

When does my boat start being a boat? Must be somewhere between the start of the build and hitting the water.
I Think it must be about now, as I just closed the hull. A closed hull means it could swim and that’s what defines a boat.
It definitely looks like a boat now!
